We wondered what would happen if we took the social Web a step further and created a private forum where sustainable brands could cultivate deeper relationships with conscious consumers, where companies could validate or explore innovative products and services, where consumers could enjoy getting the chance to collaborate behind the scenes and where a unique online platform could help generate word-of-mouth buzz and drive real social change.
That’s why we created The Collective: to connect the consumer we know based on our experience—the “conscious consumer”—with the sustainable brands and thought leaders we admire and work with on a regular basis. By facilitating this meaningful interaction, our sincere hope is that The Collective becomes a vibrant forum that inspires insights, innovation and advocacy to drive more sustainable products, policies and practices.
